Our remote control virtual wire switch is comprised of the Revere***1 series of receivers and accompanying foot switch. The system employs a 2.4 GHz radio, operating in an ISM band. This switch provides wireless remote control using foot or hand actuators. It can be used for medical, industrial, commercial and residential applications. The Revere***1 series is designed and is manufactured in the USA.

 

The Revere system was primarily designed to control medical devices such as electro-surgical generators and bone shavers, however it is also durable enough for industrial applications. Fundamentally the switch eliminates the wired connection between foot pedal switches and the device being controlled (e.g., surgical generator). A few benefits of a wireless connection are to eliminate tripping hazards and cable breakage. Furthermore, the unique Near'On Awareness Technology offers an advanced safety feature by audibly announcing the specific pedal that a surgeon is depressing prior to activation of the surgical device.

 

The wireless foot pedal controls the Revere***1 series receivers. The foot pedal is compact (*2 x *2 x 2.5 inches) and battery powered (4 AA batteries). It is constructed of a rugged stainless steel housing and has an integral handle. It can be rigorously cleaned. It has a skid resistant base. The finish can be either powder-coated or polished stainless-steel.
